Pick up your car and continue to Windsor, travel west to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stonehenge & Avebury, detour off the route to the medieval city of Salisbury and into Somerset, returning to explore Bath, Lacock and rolling hills and stone walls of the Cotswolds.

ITINERARY:
Day 1: London to Windsor
Arrive into your London airport and pick up your rental car. Continue to the Windsor area to start exploring the Great West Way. If time allows, enjoy a Hop-On, Hop-Off sightseeing tour of Windsor and Eton. Alternatively, visit Windsor Castle, the home of the Royal Family and where Prince Harry married Meghan Markle. Overnight in Windsor.
Day 2: Windsor to Salisbury (B)
Continue your exploration of the Great West Way. You may choose to stop at Bombay Sapphire Distillery to learn about gin making. Just south of the Great West Way, visit pre-historic Stonehenge, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before continuing to Salisbury. Take a walk around this picturesque market town and visit Salisbury Cathedral, the tallest cathedral in England. Overnight in Salisbury.
Day 3: Salisbury to Bath (B)
Today travel straight to Bath to experience this heritage city. Alternatively, leave the Great West Way and discover Somerset area, with the cathedral city of Wells and the town of Glastonbury. The dramatic scenery of Cheddar Gorge with its awe-inspiring cliffs and extraordinary subterranean stalactite show caves are not to be missed. While in Cheddar, be sure to also sample their cheese and visit a cider farm. Continue to Bath to re-join the Great West Way. Overnight in Bath.
Day 4: Bath to Swindon (B)
This morning, walk around Bath, one of the most beautiful cities in England and visit the historic Roman Baths. Head east and stop at one of the many pretty Cotswolds villages in the area, such as Castle Combe and Lacock. Or stop in Avebury, a small village within a standing stone circle, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site together with Stonehenge. Overnight in Swindon.
Day 5: Swindon to London (B)
Depart Swindon and drive to London, where you will return your car.
